Once or twice a year, we love to take our worship 'to the streets' and serve one of our ministry partners in a big, practical way. This coming October, we will meet at the church and then be taken over to Thornydale Elementary to help in a number of ways: building a kickball field, repainting fences and benches, cleanup of rooms and the library, building garden boxes, creating and writing thank you baskets/cards for the teachers, and many other activities.
Our community and world are transformed by the spread of the Gospel through the people of God. So we partner with Christ followers around the world and strategically position ourselves in our own community to make Tucson a better place to live. Put simply, we seek the welfare of our cities. We are a resources for the community and serve it seeking spiritual and societal transformation in churches, homes, businesses, schools, neighborhoods, and government.
At New Life, we are heavily invested in School Partnerships, Orphan Care, and International Missions/Missionaries. It is our prayer, by God's grace, that we are able to see a significant impact in these areas as a result of our focused and prayerful effort.
We intentionally partner with local schools to be a light, to serve, and to support local kids, teachers, and parents. New Life provides food boxes for children and their families, Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, Christmas gifts, school supplies and backpacks, yard and classroom cleanups, days of prayer, reading and math tutoring, and Good News Clubs (sharing Jesus after school).
The body of New Life has a long history of serving and supporting foster care families and orphans. We first desire to continue to grow the number of foster families in our body. Additionally, we desire to be a church that comes along and supports those families and orphans in Tucson through ministry partnerships and deploying congregants to serve the needs of the orphaned in Tucson.
We financially support missionaries across the world in Senegal and Uganda (Africa), Indonesia, and Mexico. We send mission teams yearly to Senegal and Haiti to support and serve indigenous missionaries and pastors in those areas.
We hold fun, impacting events through the year to share the love of Christ to our local neighbors and community. Some of these events include: Backpack and Food Drives, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Blessing Tree, Trunk or Treat, and All-Church Days of Service.

As a part of our outreach efforts, we also have a Prison Ministry Team and a team called "Knot Sew Perfect" who sew and quilt to raise money for our mission efforts and missionaries.
