MAKING A DIFFERENCE HERE IN TUCSON
New Life believes that our primary outreach is to our local community. God chose to locate New Life in Tucson and there are multitudes of hurting people who desperately need to know God. We strive to equip and inspire people to come alongside and serve in our city to be able to reach many with the transformational power of the Gospel.
One of our primary outreach heartbeats at New Life is our school partnerships. Quail Run and DeGrazia Elementary Schools are our current schools. We desire to show we care by building a relationship with the school’s teachers and staff, as well as the children and families that attend the school. Service projects, supply drives, treats for the teachers, holiday blessings, and reading or tutoring in the classroom are just a few of the ways we are able to lend a hand We love to be able to care for the staff and families represented at Quail Run Elementary. To find out more, click the learn more button.
Once again, we get to serve by helping in a classroom at Quail Run, primarily in grades K-3. Ideally, you would be able to come weekly. At DeGrazia, we can play games or read with children at recess. This could be regularly or when your schedule allows. Training available. Consider the big difference you can make by investing just a short amount of time with the people at the schools. One of New Life's primary outreach ministries is foster & adoption care. We seek to be a church that loves children in need and the families that provide for them. Our heart is to support current foster families and give opportunities for others feeling called to become a part of this ministry the help needed to guide them in their journey.
We are partnered with Christian Family Care which is a ministry that provides comprehensive adoption and foster care services, along with extensive counseling and support programs for children, families, and churches. Their mission is “to strengthen families and serve at-risk children in the name of Jesus Christ”. If you want to learn more about CFC, please visit their website: https://cfcare.org/. New Life wants to provide a way for you to get involved. We will hold Foster Care and Adoption Information Sessions periodically throughout the year. Please check the calendar for the next one.

FOSTER & ADOPTIVE CARE ENCOURAGEMENT (FACE) CONNECTION GROUP
A Christ-centered small group for those engaged in any aspect of foster care or adoption is here for all who need connection. We will meet together to fellowship face to face and walk through the challenges that come, while also celebrating the victories. All are welcome including those who are praying about becoming involved. The meetings will be held every THIRD Thursday of the month from 6:00-7:30pm. (10/19, 11/16) Childcare is provided for the monthly meetings, but you must sign up for it. For more information and address of the home where FACE will be, please follow this link:

HELP WANTED!
Foster, adoptive, and kinship families need the churches’ support to enable them to serve in this ministry on a daily basis. This can take many forms, such as committing to praying, doing yard work or cleaning, child care, gift cards, and encouraging cards or messages. Meals are the easiest and best way to help out. We ask that whenever able, please bring a frozen meal to be stored in New Life’s main kitchen’s freezer so they are available when a family needs them, especially when receiving a new child into their home. Gift cards or store bought healthy items are very welcome too. Please sign up below to help in that way or any of the others listed. You will make a big difference in a families life by joining into this vital mission.
