We may be stating the obvious, but there’s more to getting married than picking out dishes and getting a new blender. Marriage is a journey. Marriage is an opportunity to put the Gospel on display. The way we love each other, the way we prefer each other, the way we support each other, our marriages can point to who Jesus is, what He has done for us, and our calling to draw others into this life-changing story.
There is no better time than the beginning this journey together to learn to build your marriage into a compelling relationship that points directly to Jesus.
A small group of 2-4 couples meet together to prepare for life after the wedding. They learn more about marriage and their partner in several areas: the nature of love, family background, communication, conflict resolution, financial planning and realistic expectations.
A trained, happily married couple leads each group. These groups include instruction with ample time for couples to respond on each issue privately with each other. The premise of this group is “Love is a Decision.”
This group is open to engaged couples or those who are evaluating whether they want to become engaged. Each group involves 20 hours spread over a month and a scheduled private consultation with the group facilitator. A new group begins each quarter.
The group fee of $80 covers workbooks and a comprehensive online evaluation for you to take home.
