There are many issues facing the schools and students of Tucson. God has been making strategic connections between churches and their local schools. As a result, the Christian community has been given a unique opportunity to serve our city! Students, families, city leaders, and churches from all over Tucson gathered at the Marana High School Auditorium for 26 hours of continuous prayer and worship. There was music, prayer stations, and leaders praying from the stage.

While Marana High School excels on many levels, this school (like others across the state and nation) is facing challenges such as inadequate funding and hurting families. We set this day aside to pray for Marana High School’s continued success and for the specific needs of the school including the faculty, staff, students, and their families, as well as for the Marana Unified School District as a whole.

We are asking God to use this event to spark a contagious passion in all of us to see His love brought into all schools in Tucson. We are excited and expectant to see how God will answer, for He has given us an amazing promise in Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things…”
